I had an excellent time at Ann purna truley enjoyed the food I'm from London we have many indian restaurants but nothing comes up next to the authenticity of this food.

The decor may be dated and require modernisation but this is reflected in their price which is not as high as other restaurants I had tried overpriced pleasing to the eye but not to the palate.

However it was the food we went for and it was not a disappointment but a real treat, would definately be back and recommend for everyone to try.
Service was excellent friendly owners, make you feel welcome.

Perfect end to our stay.

We were really disappointed with our experience here. We had travelled all the way from Aberdeen to have authentic Gujarati food. The staff were being rude, to the extent that we had to leave the restaurant without having our dinner.

The staff were very helpful and the service excellent. They dealt with an over calculation of the bill with no fuss.

The Atmosphere was ok, authentic Gujarati blues and plastic table cloths to match. The Gents loo was well below standard and unclean.

The small portion of pakoras was dull uninteresting. The puuri sev was well over priced for such a cheap shop bought ingredients. The main curses were ungenerous and we were disappointed to find frozen mixed veg macedoine as the basis of the vegetable curries. The highly spiced aubergines were in fact bland. The chapattis were fresh, but a bit small.

We were disappointed since we travelled from Glasgow to eat Gujerati food – it certainly did live up to my memories of the Gujerati food as found in East Africa.

Of course all the best curries are to be found in Glasgow.

What a shame.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Edinburgh - the staff are really friendly and the food is exquisite. Every meal there has been excellent and if you go try the home made Chai Tea.

Don't let the atmosphere and decor in this restaurant fool you into thinking it is just another bog standard Indian. The food here is superb, definitely the best vegetarian food I tasted on a recent trip here. It's not expensive and the staff are very friendly.

Feature your restaurant.
