Ann Purna 45 St Patricks Square Telephone: 0131 662 1807 OPENING TIMES Vegetarian: Fully Vegan: Unknown Organic: Unknown Indian (Gujarati) Linda (Reading, UK) wrote on 19 December 2009 Visited here with my husband last week. We had the two Thalis that were vegan - the waiter understood what vegan was and was able to tell us what was vegan and what wasn't. The desserts included in the Thalis were not vegan, so they substituted with mango puree. Denise Baker (London) wrote on 4 August 2008 I had an excellent time at Ann purna truley enjoyed the food I'm from London we have many indian restaurants but nothing comes up next to the authenticity of this food. Sridhar Vaitheswaran (Kingswells, Aberdeen) wrote on 21 August 2007 We were really disappointed with our experience here. We had travelled all the way from Aberdeen to have authentic Gujarati food. The staff were being rude, to the extent that we had to leave the restaurant without having our dinner. Ross Mackay (Glasgow) wrote on 19 August 2007 The staff were very helpful and the service excellent. They dealt with an over calculation of the bill with no fuss. Gregor Murray (Edinburgh) wrote on 18 December 2006 This is one of my favourite restaurants in Edinburgh - the staff are really friendly and the food is exquisite. Every meal there has been excellent and if you go try the home made Chai Tea. Chris Leighton (Newark) wrote on 9 February 2004 Don't let the atmosphere and decor in this restaurant fool you into thinking it is just another bog standard Indian. The food here is superb, definitely the best vegetarian food I tasted on a recent trip here. It's not expensive and the staff are very friendly. |
