I always find the service really friendly and efficient. There is often a queue but this is a testament to how popular this place is. The food is delicious, nutritionally balanced and I believe good value for money. Another bonus is the great range of food for allergy sufferers. The decor helps to preserve a beautiful building whilst promoting local art and there's always something interesting to read on the famous notice board. I recommend the Hommity Pie - Cheese, potato and onion and one of the delicious salads.

While the foods here is of excellent quality and is well priced, the service lacks sparkle. Some of the staff seem to know very little about the food they are serving. If arriving at lunchtime, give yourself plenty of time - the queue can be huge. Try the chocolate cake and the chocolate biscuit creation. Good range of salads. My main disappointment is that it isn't open in the evenings or on Sundays.

This was a disappointing return visit and I won't be going again - customer care is obviously not on the induction training.

Food quite yummy but service with a scowl, especially from the owners.

Just an update on the Blue Moon, they've moved and are now next to the cathedral. There is now room to sit down (at last) but I can't do better than to repeat Andrea Longden's review "Very cheap and exellent meals. Very tasty always fresh vegetables and herbs."
