I was very disappointed that we were overcharged for our vegetarian meal. The owner suggested 10 mezzes and 3 mains for our party of 6 and with service and non-alcoholic drinks, the bill was £120 (no desserts, no coffees). We asked why the bill was so large and were told we were charged £15.50 per head - even though the individual cost of the dishes would have been £30 less. The bill payer did not want to cause a fuss so I could not complain. The restaurant was cold so we ate with our coats on! Jan 2007

Unhelpful staff. Waited over an hour for our order. When food arrived it was cold. Very measley portions. Waited an hour for the bill. Restaurant was empty from customers but full of staff.

Vegetarian Mezze of the day - excellent - a chef's choice of hot and cold vegetarian mezze. Also available is a main course of Vegetable cous cous, Lebanese pastries and Lebanese coffee. The manager is extremely sensitive to the needs of vegetarian diners. The atmosphere is intimate and beautifully furnished and the staff are attentive without being obsequious. On Friday nights they have a belly dancer in the upstairs part of the restaurant. Unfortunately there is no official non-smoking area, but they will always try to accommodate any requests.
