I only stayed long enough to look at the menu and in the cold cabinet. There was meat on the menu and a ham roll in the cabinet. I had expected a vegetarian cafe so was disappointed.

Olive's IS the best cafe in Norwich. I often go in for breakfast and the range is impressive: including a full vegetarian breakfast (£5.95) which doesn't just involve swapping "meat" items: theirs includes aubergine, peppers, and haloumi. All eggs are free range and they will substitute to offer vegan and wheat free alternatives. They mainatin the same standard at lunch: my favourite is the stilton and walnut pate - amazing! The coffee is fantastic with a number of fairtrade beans on offer. But the best thing is the atmosphere: comfy sofas, really friendly (not pushy) staff, and it's in a beautiful part of town - well worth the walk!
