Great food at prices that are fair for the size of the portion. Although billed as a Cafe expect to pay restaurant prices. Not expensive but more costly than your usual 'caf'. Sunday lunch from £7.50 for a nutroast with vegetables and yorkshire pud. Evening menu great choice: approx £8 main, and under a fiver for starter. Good salads, homemade pies, with vegan options. Atmosphere good but was a tad warm in the dining room and it could do with a fan when the room is full. That would be our only criticism. Take your own bottle as no alcohol licence: they charge £1 per bottle corkage, so take a large bottle (we welcome the take your own approach). Like this restaurant very much. Enjoy.

it was very expensive and no choice for vegans. I wouldn't go again. The one toilet is shared and does not flush properly.

Sky Apple could do with a few more vegan options, but the ones they've got are delicious!

Remember, if you're going in the evening, booking is ESSENTIAL.

Good Quality food but lack of Vegan options and very pricey! A good choice for Salads and homemade chips.

The Sky Apple is a great place to eat.It's a cafe during the day doing great veggie breakfasts, lunch & snacks.In the evening it turns into a restaurant & always busy.The menu is always good and changes on a regular basis and they seem to beable to cater for everyone's tastes. Well worth a visit.

It's been in town for a couple of years so very surprised no one has placed a review. On Heaton Road, so a bus ride or taxi from the City Centre.  Nice enough place, not licenced but you can take your own alcohol on an evening. Quite an extensive menu, doesn't change much and would prefer fries with the burger.  Small eating area but always very very very busy.  Cash only so no cards accepted. Recommended.
