This venue is no longer exclusively vegetarian - fish was added to the menu some months ago, and meat is also sometimes served.

Very clean and popular, this is a very stylish place to eat with a wide a varied menu. Set in and above a sanctuary of a high Anglican church (very forward thinking!) this is an unique experience; take your pesto with a sense of peace. It was great to feel that young children were welcome here, too; we counted four mothers breast-feeding their babies, one of whom was my wife... and not a tut of disapproval from the other clientele. However, much of the seating did not appear to be accessible with a push chair in tow as additional seating is available on a mezzanine floor; something to bear in mind given the popularity of the venue. Also, the menu did run out while we were there (about 2pm between Christmas and New Year) - best get there early for the best choice and value (we paid full price for the last (left over?) portions of a gratin bake... a bit steep in my book, particular as they were not served with the advertised vegetables/salad). Nonetheless, well worth a visit and would probably go again.

A great veggie cafe for excellent lunches, coffee, snacks. They use local ingredients and all dishes are home cooked. They also do fixed-menu dinners about once a month on a Friday. Cordon vert stuff, excellent value, innovative menus and just a really great place. Well used by locals - it's slap bang in the centre of town. There can't be that many veggies in Hereford, but it's always nearly full. Cafeteria service and looks like good disabled access.
