First visit last night. Really excellent. Tiny restaurant, rather brightly lit, but spic and span. Welcoming hostess. Scrumptious food. Beforehand, had qualms about veggie food pretending to be 'meat' but it's wonderful. Will certainly visit many times again. Pricing is reasonable.

Wonderful restaurant. If you've been to Peking Palace then this place is a must-visit. Although I prefer Peking Palace, the Veggie Inn has to be my second favourite restaurant. If you are Vegan be careful since the veggie ham contains milk even though the site says "dairy free"... I found this out after buying a frozen loaf of it from them! Very friendly staff, small restaurant but a very nice atmosphere.

A lovely little restaurant in the wastelands of central Harrow! (right behind the main shopping centre and underground station). No garlic, leeks or onion used (Buddhist), but a really wonderful meal. If you can't make it to the Daddy of Chinese Vegetarian restaurants - Tien Hiang in Paris - then this is a good second.

We decided to visit the Veggie Inn after reading the reviews, and we were not disappointed. What an amazing menu! It was fantastic to have so much choice. The staff are very helpful, and the service is very quick. It is small restaurant that could be easily missed, but keep looking, as it is so worth it. We will not go any where else now! Try the lemon chicken - WOW!

Wonderful mainly vegan Chinese restaurant. I felt truly privileged to live just down the road and we ate there or had takeaways regularly. It's the thing I most miss about no longer living in Harrow. Super food, like one of the other reviewers I found the fake fish a bit too "fishy" for me but other than that I loved everything I tried there.

I have been round the world 4 times but the best veg. food I got so far was in Veggie Inn, Harrow and the service was very, very good.

I've been a vegetarian for over 10 years, and have tried many, many veggie restaurants - from the bland, to the good and a few that were absolutely awful; but the Veggie Inn in Harrow is ABSOLUTELY SUPERB! The choices are so numerous, you need to go there quite a few times in order to just sample a small selection of what's on offer. And we have yet to be disappointed by anything we have ordered - from the mock shredded duck to the mock lamb in black bean sauce... I've started to drool as I'm writing this! The texture of the food is amazing, and the tastes and aromas - superb. They are so realistic, some vegetarians may even find them a bit off-putting. I certainly found one of their 'fish' dishes to be a bit too 'fishy' for me. It costs a little bit more than an 'ordinary' Chinese restaurant, and don't be tempted to over-order, the portions are quite generous.

Utterly superb - went there for my 50th Birthday with my family and we all thought that this was amazing. Simply the best Chinese that we have ever had. Make sure you try the set menus which are £13.80, £15.80 & £17.80 per person. We had the £15.80 & just couldn't move afterwards! Nice simple & bright decor with a pleasant atmosphere make this a delightful LOCAL JEM .... please please try it !!!!!

I have been a vegetarian now for 25 years and I have never been so spoilt for choice. This is the most fantastic restaurant I have ever been too. The dishes are superb and reasonably priced and my meat eating friends I took there tell me you can barely tell the difference due to the texture and flavour of the dishes. The staff there are really friendly and welcoming and are happy to share cooking tips! Until now I have never been a real fan of Chinese as I found most restaurants quite limited when catering for vegetarians - I now know what all the fuss is about!! Cannot recommend it highly enough!!

This restaurant is superb!  I've been to many vegan Chinese restaurants and this one is by far the best.  Run by a very friendly family (a special mention to Hong), it also breaks out of the mould, by having an original menu where the 'meat' and vegetable items are not made in the same way as the other restaurants.  So for a unique and fantastic meal, this is the only choice.  Our meat eating friends said it's the best Chinese they have been to.  Certainly the best in my books.

It would be very difficult to pick out anything special on this menu - it is all wonderful!  The 'meat' and 'fish' dishes are so cleverly prepared that it is difficult not to imagine yourself eating the real thing. The presentation is always good.  The proprietors are very friendly and welcoming and every meal is a journey that caresses the taste buds and leaves you wanting for more.  It is difficult not to over eat.  Prices are extremely reasonable and it is possible to have a very good assortment of food for very reasonable outlay.  My wife and I cannot recommend this resturant highly enough. Since its opening it has become a regular haunt for us and every visit is a delight! Can't wait to return...

Superb choice complimented by friendly service. An excellent venue for vegetarians to enjoy the full range of Chinese cooking.

Wonderful small, friendly and reasonably priced restaurant run by a Chinese/Malaysian Buddist family with the friendly and informative host, Hong. Wonderful food, many mock meat dishes - perfect for those veggies who miss the taste of meat or other dishes that don't! They don't sell alcohol but have a licence and there is a off-licence next door to buy your wine and they'll serve it to you. We'll be going back again very soon.

I made a visit to this cosy restaurant last week and I have to say, I've been a vegetarian for 15 years and I've never been so spoilt with choices. The staff seemed really friendly and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend Veggie Inn to anyone who appreciates quality vegetarian food and a cosy atmosphere to enjoy it in.
