Very friendly staff, excellent food (especially the burger), nice relaxed atmosphere and good value food.

If you are a Vegan in North Yorkshire this is the place to go!

After a handful of visits I have to conclude that the flurry of recommendations by The Observer is either down to lazy journalism or a succession of bad days experienced by Wild Ginger. The food was okay but no great shakes - pretty bog standard really. The portion size was small and for basic ingredients, over-priced.

Licensed lunchtime veggie vegan cafe with seven national awards most recently voted 2nd best in britain by the observer/guardian readers award for best quality cheap eats. Special diets catered for. Gorgeous homemade burgers, chocolate dessert, curries, creative salads, risotto, vegan quiches and much more...

This is the best vegan restaurant I have been to in 8 years of being Vegan. The food is delicious and fresh, GMO free and some Organic. They cater well for all sorts of diets. The vegan deserts are wonderful. I used to go here on an almost weekly basis for a couple of years when I lived in the area and I could never make up my mind what I wanted due to the wide range of choice. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is great. It is well worth going out of the way to eat here. They also do breakfasts and take aways which is great if you are passing through Harrogate.

Friendly food, tasty atmosphere, relaxed staff. Wild Ginger is licensed, virtually vegan, and a treat for both vegetarians and vegans. Specials include vegetarian haggis, nut wellington and vegan moussaka. There is a large range of drinks including organic wine and beer, and vegan cola floats.
