The food is good, service is good and the location is great - you can sit and look out of the window, watching the ducks on the river! The menu changes often and it's fairly reasonably priced. Definitely a good place for a special occasion. Kevin Watkinson (Leeds) wrote on 17 June 2006 Tucked away in Yorkshire is this lovely, and as yet little known, restaurant that has recently opened its doors. Step inside to a cool, naturally well lit room, where the diners can look out for the resident ducks paddling on the river. The Sunday lunchtime menu is an absolute delight with reasonably priced main courses accompanied by quite exquisite desserts, with choices including American style pancakes and maple syrup to start. Really quite decadent, whilst avoiding the use of animal products in it's food, this restaurant creates culinary delights for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike. The prices were reasonable on the times that I have been on a Sunday, and I can recommend Dandelion as a place to go and check out if you're up or around this way. |
