Dave Stamp (Birmingham) wrote on 23 March 2008 Jyoti is fantastic, one of the best restaurants in Birmingham. The dhosas are great, but so are the pani purees and the paneer bhurjis and...well, everything! Katherine Hutton (West Midlands) wrote on 30 January 2008 I have eaten here with friends many times and every time the food and service have been excellent. I especially favour the Bhel starter and the Thali is great aswell. I always try to have the coconut ice cream served in a baby coconut shell if they have it. David Bolstridge (Shoreham) wrote on 30 January 2008 Ever since I left Birmingham I miss Masala Dosas! I visit Birmingham from time to time and always visit Jyoti, but I heard that the restaurant was going to relocate. Is this the case? If so can someone supply me with the current address and telephone number please? Niral Joshi (Restaurant Connection) wrote on 1 December 2007 AS a representative of jypti begetarian restaurant i'd like to say that Sachin Tendulkar has NEVER visited our restaurant and the above review by him is false. Fifi (Birmingham) wrote on 28 November 2007 I dream of this place. It is defo worth a visit. The 'spicy whole potato' is to die for (i would - if i couldn't get any!!) The menu is marked if anything is not vegan. An absolute MUST !!! Shrinka Bob (Birmingham) wrote on 12 July 2007 Excellent food I love everything! Samantha King (Birmingham) wrote on 23 October 2002 Jyoti has recently won an award as the best restaurant in Birmingham, beating all the top city centre restaurants. I have been going to this restaurant for years and have always eaten the best vegetarian food. The staff are fantastic, the food delicious. You will now need to book at the weekends, and possibly in the week. It is unlicensed. Average price of main meal is £5. Sachin Tendulkar (Birmingham) wrote on 20 December 2000 Try the Jyoti Special Masala Dhosa. A wicked atmosphere and calm. Not too expensive. Value for money. Anjli Thanki (Birmingham) wrote on 13 November 2000 Jyoti restaurant is great. There are not many places which are pure vegetarian. The food is great - you have to try their masala dhosa they are so tasty and the prices are great. It really is value for money. Deepali Joshi (Birmingham) wrote on 21 August 2000 The dishes to die for are the Jyoti Special Masala Dhosa, Chilli Paaneer and the Jyoti Thali. A calm peaceful atmosphere.
