Not a good choice of food for vegans, just salad. Would not return and would not recommend. Rowland Chambers (Stoke on Trent) wrote on 14 May 2004 This restaurant is truly a jem! They make all their own soups (choice of at least three per day), speciality hot meals and savoury dishes. Choice of at least 10 different salads freshly made daily, freshly made flans with wholemeal pastry, wide selection of fillings for baked potatoes (very moorish!). Prices vary fron £3.50 to £10.00. Brilliant selection of desserts - all freshly made, including fresh fruit salad, bread and butter puddings and cakes. They cater for gluton free and other diets. They also open for speciality evening meals - ie Valentine's night-gourmet food at its best! The restaurant, which is fully licenced, adjoins their own health food shop. Vanessa, Val and John are the very friendly proprietors - definitely worth a visit. I travel from well out of the area to eat at the Greenhouse - and I know others do as well. |
