We visit Bournemouth at least once per year, and we always visit Zoukinis at least once whilst we are there.

They are open for breakfast, lunch and themed evening meals and we have never been disappointed with any of the food choices at either one.

The quality of the food is excellent and the food is often original, the surroundings are cosy and the atmosphere is very friendly, and the staff, especially the owner Kelly, and her mum, are very homely and welcoming.

All in all, we feel that Zoukinis offer very good value for money and having been to many vegetarian and vegan restaurants around the country we highly recommend this establishment.

Since Zoukinis opened I have made my way through the menu as it all sounds so scrumptious. I couldn't possible begin to tell you my fav dish although the Eggs Florentine are to die for, the home made Hollandais sauce is delicious, the scrambled tofu is sublime and the breakfast doesn't leave space for a second coffee, Im a grilled Hollumi convert!

When my food arrives I have never been disappointed, the taste experience is like an extravaganza on my taste buds. I wish I could eat here every day! Its very refreshing to go some where that freshly prepares seasonal food to order... the best things are worth waiting for. Even when its busy It doesn't take more than 20 mins, just enough time to relax, sit back with the paper and enjoy a fruit smoothie.

Have I mentioned the tappas? the cocktails?

These guys are great, really great, go try them!

My partner and I took my son for lunch to Zoukinis and we were bitterly disappointed with the experience!

The staff were very pleasant, the restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere but the wait for the food was certainly not worth it!

When we arrived there were other customers - but the place was certainly not hugely busy. Our drinks arrived promptly - our food didn't. We waited for over half and our for our lunch. When it did arrive only two dishes came out. My son and I ate, whilst my partner waited. When we asked about the missing meal we were told a fryer had broken and it would be one minute. It wasn't! We'd finished our meals by the time it turned up.

If we'd been told there was a problem, we could have ordered an alternative. The late burger arrived with the offer of a complimentary drink - but, by this stage, my partner didn't want one.

The food itself was tasty - but expensive considering the portions. Personally, I feel over six pounds for two pieces of brushchetta on a small salad is asking a lot! The £25 bill seemed a little steep.

It's such a shame our experience was so poor because when we walked in our expectations had been high.

This restaurant was Veggie heaven!! The scrambled tofu was a real treat, a very rare find! I highly recommend the veggie meatballs, full of flavour made from the freshest ingredients, proper tasty! The owner was lovely and very welcoming. I wish i lived closer, i would be there for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Check out the veggie Tapas on a Friday and Saturday night.

I hold a networking evening at Zoukinis on a monthly basis and can highly recommend the food. Kelly, the owner, is very accomodating and friendly. All of the members of the network are delighted with the food and the service. If you go to Bournemouth, this is a restaurant not to be missed!
