I live near there but I have only been there once, but that one time was amazing! The food was lovely, I am a vegetarian not vegan so I could order more freely. I only had a sandwich, cake and drink but it was really nice and the service was brilliant!

We turned up at 2.55pm on a Saturday afternoon and they stop serving food at 3.00pm, however the staff were extremely nice and took our orders straight away. There were quite a few vegan options which was a delight for my husband & myself, and although my hubby's dish turned up with a pot with normal butter, they soon replaced it with vegan one. We had sandwich platters which were presented very nicely with salad & crisps, and my son had maccaroni cheese with bread and salad followed by the ice-cream. We also ordered a slice of chocolate cake which although a bit "carroby" was very nice and we scoffed the lot. Very nice relaxed atmosphere, great staff, nice fresh food not too expensive......would definetely go back but next time will turn up earlier to sample the bigger variety of food they have! Thanks

Finding The Good Food Cafe amongst the overly touristy offerings in Canterbury was a great relief . What we found was a calm atmosphere, very friendly service and absolutely delicious food, all for a very reasonable sum. My wife ate chile with perfectly cooked small-grain brown rice; I had a fantastic lentil and aubergine moussaka, which we followed with excellent coffees and dessert. They might be a bit more inventive with the desserts, but I would recommend this place to anyone, not only vegetarians or vegans.

The only Vegetarian restaurant that we found in Canterbury. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Family run with home made food and a large selection of Vegan dishes available - also mainly organic. We will definitely use again if we return to Canterbury.
