Excellent restaurant in a city centre location. Food is always delicious and pudding is good too. Friendly staff in a very laid back atmosphere.
Parking is no longer free outside after 6.30pm so be aware when parking.

WOW. This place is truly amazing!! I went with a group of friends from work and we all said how absolutely fantastic this place was. Even if you are not a veggie, the quality of this food will simply blow you away. Great atmosphere and prices were very reasonable to me for the quantity and quality of food. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Food! Having first gone with a large group of friends, I got to sample many of the dishes and moorish dips (love the handfried torteilla). I have since been back on a couple of smaller occasions and found the standard of the dishes just as high. Calm and friendly atmosphere and unique venue, i'll definitely be back again!

I really feel the below reveiw was completly unjust! First and foremost the burgers and wedges have NOT changed and are still as yummy as they ever were! :) nor has the place become pretentious, and with regard to a renovated interior, there have been no changes except for the occasional re-painting of the stairs and the idea put forward by alot of customers to perhaps replace the chairs with something more comfortable, which hasn't even happened yet...
The cafe is a genuinely quirky and cosy way to while away your afternoon wether it be with tea and cake or a more substantial meal for lunch or dinner. The staff are more then friendly and will go out of their way to help with any special requests, and i personally cannot think of a place i'd rather spend my time :)

Went tonight for our first anniversary and loved it! If you haven't been before I wouldn't pay too much attention to the review below (although we would have liked to have visited before those changes took place!) , the food was all wonderfully tasty and the waitress very friendly and helpful. The room is nice and the tables are interesting since they are all different and this certainly adds to the rather rustic atmosphere of the cafe.
We had 1 starter, 2 sides, 2 main meals and 2 milk shakes and paid £35 roughly, which seems perfectly reasonable considering the food was so nice and freshly prepared. Portion sizes were good, possibly could have been slightly bigger but this isn't an issue.
Very nice in all respects, great atmosphere and free parking outside after 6.30pm.

This place USED to be fantastic serving great wholesome food in an unpretentious environment - it was all about the food. They were famous for their veggie burgers and wedges (these have now been replaced with nasty tasting ones). Over the last few months it has started to move away from these foundations with a new 'proper menu' and a renovated interior. As a result, prices have gone up, portions have gone down and the place has lost the great atmosphere it had. I have spoken to friends who work nearby and regularly visit the Warehouse Cafe and they agree - they don't frequent it any longer. It’s such a shame to see a once great CAFE lose its way.

Really lovely place - part of a green community in Birmingham. Situated above Friends of the Earth. Lovely atmosphere, nice menu and plenty of vegan choices, staff reasonably friendly. Good mid-range prices, my three-course meal and a drink came to under £20. No alcohol served. I see they serve Sunday lunch too, yum!

It's just down the hill from Moor Street Station, under the tunnel and first right down a dark street parallel to the railway track / arches.

The Warehouse Cafe is tucked away just a 5 minute walk from the Bull Ring and is a lovely relaxing place to eat. It's above the Friends of the Earth and One Earth shop.

The place is a hotch potch of mismatched tables and chairs with ever changing art work on display that you can buy if you take a shine to it. It's informal and the kind of place you feel you could while away a afternoon with a coffee and a cake and not be expected to leave after half an hour.

There is a menu on the table that has snacks and larger delights like falafel and houmous, veggie sausages and mash, spring onion pancakes with tofu, veggie burgers and Thai green curry. As well as this there is an ever changing specials board with soup of the day, various salads, roast dinners, veggie pies, curries, enchiladas - it's diferrent everytime you go. Most of the meals are either vegan or can be made suitable for vegans.

There is always a great selection of deserts, my favourite being sticky ginger sponge with vegan (or not if you prefer) custard. They do a great vegan cheesecake as well.

The staff are generally very friendly and the prices are reasonable, usually coming in under £10 for a main course and a drink.

The coffee gets free refills!

I have two negative comments, but these are minor - the first is that a smell of fried food lingers in the air sometimes and this can cling to your clothes - open a window, light some incense and the problem would go away. The second is that one time I went and ordered a veggie burger, when it came the plastic separator from between the packaged burgers was still on my burger. I told the waitress and she apologised and told me what it was. However, I would normally expect to be offered my meal for free / reduced / free desert when something like that has happened. I was a bit miffed at the time, however I have been back a few times since as despite this one complaint, the pros far outweigh the cons.

I have eaten in veggie restaurants all over the globe and I can honestly say that Warehouse Cafe is THE BEST. Imaginative 'honest' food served in unpretentious 'homely' surroundings by very pleasant happy staff. Warehouse: "Don't change a thing"!

The best bulgar wheat chilli burgers ever. Fresh banana milkshakes & imaginative salads - it's all a vegan delight.Don't let the location put you off - it's in an interesting part of what's left of unhomogonised brum. Informal atmosphere with a wide mixture of clients. Top value. Pig out for about £6 each. Lots of goodies in the shop next door.

This restaurant/cafe is not in the nicest area or the most pleasantly decorated but I can wholeheartedly say that this was the best food I have eaten since becoming vegan (especialy their trifle). My only complaint is that it's so far from where I live :-))
