The Rainbow's End is an absolute joy. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious and of the highest quality, whether vegetarian or vegan. The prices are very reasonable too at around £7 for a main meal including salads. The atmosphere is both relaxed and lively, and the place is always packed! I've been going there regularly since 1996 (my last visit was September 2009), and would never want to miss it when I'm in Glastonbury.

First of all the cafe itself is very colourful and homey - they have a light filled conservatory type seating area at the back and in summer (or those brave enough in winter) you can sit outside in a pretty back space.
The food is wholesome and very yummy - worth queuing up for!

Was recommended to eat here by my landlady at the B&B I was staying at and, as I am only new to vegetarianism, I found the food mouthwateringly delicious, unusual recipes, good portions, very reasonable prices, cakes also wonderful, staff very friendly, clean basic premises. In the 2 days I stayed in Glastonbury I ate there 3 times, and I will be going back there again in February.

A wonderful atmosphere full of happy and courteous staff. There are no airs and graces, and elegant dining this is not!...but it is a very good place to eat in terms of value, and variety and ingenious recipes. One can get a good meal at any time of the day or just a snack.....you are never pressed to leave when you have finished but can stay and chat. In the summer there is a lovely little garden out back with a few seats and lots of birds.....feathered sort!!
