This place is a gem. The veggie selection is really impressive, in fact I've never been to a Chinese restaurant with anything remotely approaching the scope of their menu. No picking through the pages, searching for the odd mushroom, seaweed or bean curd dish!

We went as a party of nine to celebrate my fiftieth birthday and found the staff to be very friendly and efficient, the food quality to be possibly the best Chinese food any of us have ever had, the atmosphere to warm and friendly (with just the right amount of liveliness too) and the value for money quite astonishing given the high quality of the food.

They really looked after us and I can't recommend The Pink Giraffe highly enough. LOVED IT!

Originally when The Pink Giraffe first opened in 1998, they were solely a Vegetarian Restaurant and associated the Giraffe with the restaurant name, as the animal is a vegetarian and Pink was also added into the restaurant name because it is the owner's favourite colour! Prior to the opening of The Pink Giraffe, the owner wanted to create something very special. The Pink Giraffe was to be a destination restaurant that was truly unique where a differential Vegetarian menu was of paramount importance! Since then, they've have branched out into catering for other guests apart from just vegetarians and have included Meat, Fish & Poultry into the menu. Although, The Pink Giraffe certainly have not forgotten about our Vegetarian roots! As they are always trying to improve the different vegetarian variety of dishes available to guests! The vegetarian menu not only comprises of the usual vegetable dishes, but of Soya Meats too! Even if you are a meat eater, why not try out the so-called Soya Meat dishes to see if you like it! The Pink Giraffe has become a favourite destination for party bookings as vegetarians and meat eaters are equally catered for in terms of cuisine! Apart from an extensive Chinese A La Carte Menu, they also offer a wide range of drinks! Many popular Liqueurs and Spirits can be found on the drinks list with Cocktails available on certain nights of the week!
