Excellent cafe beneath a wholefood shop. Sells good cheap foodwith large portions. Lots of interesting stuff in the salads and plenty ofvariety. Very friendly, and acts as a base for all the alternative /animal rights / eco info that's going on in Manchester. An essential firststop if you're in Manchester to find out what's going on and to get greatfood at a bargian price in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

A new bookshop with vegan cafe in Manchester - and it's amazing. Loads of variety and it's cheap too. Curries, toasties, soups, cakes etc. It is also a co-op and all the workers work voluntarily and anyone can become part of the co-op or volunteer. It's a beacon of light in this dark capitalist hell.
