We ate a vegan meal in there many years ago and it was very good, but unfortunately this restuarant ceased trading some years ago.

Yes, Tailor's was a superb restaurant owned by a wonderfully original and dedicated vegetarian chef. However, he left there some time ago and now the place is run by some other "Taylors" who do not measure up in cheffing standards by any means. Alas, we have a lost a wonderful place to go to for our birthdays, high days and holidays etc... It's not as good and it is certainly not the same place you are mistakenly describing in your guide.

Restaurant is owned and run by ex-chef of recording studio - cooked for Wet Wet Wet & Peter Gabriel among many others. Food is very tasty - try the lasagne - many specials and it's a bring your own wine/beer etc. Non-smoking most of the time. Lunchtime menu about £3.00 per meal and evenings about £5.50. Nice garden - 1 min from sea.
