Pili Pili is not answering the phone, and their website doesn't work.

A reviewer on another website said that the whole block that Pili Pili is in, is being demolished/refurbished.

Sounds like bad news....

I have now been here four times since discovering this restaurant a month ago. I recently had a full meal for 2 with drinks for under £25 and the food is absolutely fantastic. I cannot eat in a 'normal' Indian restaurant again. Yes, the service is a little slow and you get the food brought up as it is cooked (so you might feel its a little haphazard) but it is so worth the wait - visit it.

Really delicious and also healthy food. The thali that is only on the menu Fri-Sun is out of this world, but the biryani is also pretty amazing too. One of the few Indian restaurants that does Indian desserts as well so leave some room for the Gulab Jamon! Our favorite place to eat out as the food is delicious and the service is friendly and cosy. Great place (and we are not vegetarians but rather eat here than anywhere else locally!)

The tastiest food you'll ever eat, reasonably priced, friendly service. Lots of vegan options. Every town should have a place like this.

The food is overpriced and the service is lousy - we had to wait for 40 minutes before we received any starters and the main course was served cold. Great decor unfortunately let down by the food taste, and service.

The Pili Pili is a must for local and non-local vegetarians and eaters of all food for that matter! Its cuisine is North Indian but includes Chinese and African and other influences on its menu. If you're uncertain as to what an item (or two) on the menu is - the staff will take all the time you want not only to explain what it is and even how it's made and will even go so far as to suggest what you could order from the menu to complement other dishes on it! The food is of high quality and undoubtedly healthy - there being an obvious effort to keep salt, sugar and fats to the minimum to ensure palatability. The service is prompt and courteous. The food is delicious! There is a very adequate drinks menu - including Kingfisher and Cobra Lagers! On Friday evenings there is live music on offer - just enough to complement the enjoyment of your meal and not take over! Try it - you'll love it!
