They now cook and serve meat there. Nice food for veggies and very popular

Khazana used be very dear to me untill you changed from pure vegetarian to non veg.

Khazana was pride of Birmingham and a place I used to look forward to going there but when I realised that they have mixed non veg in the menu they have lost all the charm. They have no unique selling point as there are numerous wonderful mixed diet restaurants in Birmingham. I am not the only one. Besides my whole family a huge number of friends who are mainly vegetarian think so!

I am very sorry to say that my last vist was actually the last visit visit ever to Kopper Khazan unless original Khazana comes back.

With deep regret

I am a veggie by the way! I absolutley loved Khazanas when I went there, i have been several times and my family are very well known there and are friends with the manager. One day I was going there with my sisters and my Dad when suddenly we saw the sign Kopper Khazana, I was very suprised when I saw it because I figured out they now do meat! I was so appalled and upset that they now decided to do meat. Khazana was one of my favourite resturants but now I am not too sure. I think it was wrong that they want to now let people eat DEAD ANIMALS. The standard of the food is very good but I think it is going down.

when i first came to this restaurant 8 months ago i loved the food i had the buffet and it was great. I thought it was the best restaurant that i had eaten in for a long time. I also met the owner Rishi and i told him i loved the food.
But then when i popped in 3 weeks ago i found that they had meat on the menu ok i thought it doesnt bother me its on the other side. The vegetarian food was awful i hated it. It was just like normal plain indian food no wow factor at all.
I then went back yesterday and guess what it was the same awful food. Rishi what's happening. By you not being there not supervising the food and the WAITERS is not good. The waiter was going round telling people that it had gone downhill since you started meat and Rishi the food was not cooked to a standard that i was paying for. Please do something about it otherwise no more customers.

NOT A VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT ANYMORE.

I have been a regular customer ever since this restaurant opened a few years ago purely because they where pure vegetarian. But my last visit I was disgusted and appalled to find out that they now sold meat.

The waiters didn't tell me, I only found out when I looked at the menu. I asked them why, the answer I got was "not enough vegetarian's eat here".

I walked out in disgust saying I will never eat here again and will also tell all my friends and family to boycott them.

How can they say that when there are customers that come from Scotland and Wales just to eat here because it's vegetarian.

Yes they are a little expensive but I would have gladly paid the extra for it.
I feel they have let down the vegetarian community.

BOYCOTT THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS. IT IS NOW A MEAT EATER'S RESTAURANT. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE DISHES IT'S THE SAME KITCHEN, SAME WORK AREA AND SAME CHEF. IT'S NOT EVEN CALLED BY THE SAME NAME ANYMORE.

I was very dissapointed when I visited the restaurant on Mothers Day for a meal with my daughters. We were charged £15.00 for a meal that normally costs us £9.00. The buffet was exactly the same, but as it was a special occasion they decided to put the prices up for the day. If there were posters up stating that the meals were at a higher rate, we would've walked out strightaway. But to be told only when we were paying the bill , we found this to be very dissapointing. If it wasnt for my daughters presence on a special occasion, i would've complained of these extreme prices.

Visited on 30 December and saw that it's no longer vegetarian - asked the waiter why and he was a bit embarassed and said he didn't know management had "just decided to change". However, we had the all you can eat buffet which was the same range of options as a few months ago and the meat dishes (only 4) were on a different table. The veggie food was still excellent and recommended but it is a bit of a concern that they now prepare meat in the same kitchen. Considering Birmingham is the second city in England the range of veggie restaurants is extremely limited and this was a great place. Shame they decided to add meat from a couple of queries - if only non-veggie places would add more veggie options every time we asked!!

Having been regular customers since it opened we took some friends for a meal only to find meat on the menu. We have always thoroughly enjoyed their excellent food and service but sadly will never return as long as they sell meat. It's very very sad as many friends and colleagues travel miles to eat there but however feel exactly as we do.

Sad day for us and Khazana !

We were also informed as soon as we arrived at the restaurant on 14th December 2008 (by an embarrassed waiter) that they had now added meat dishes to their menu. This was a real disappointment and a big shock as every time we have been there in the past it was always so full. Apparently a few of their customers asked for meat dishes so they added meat, but they have definately lost our custom for as long as they serve meat. What a real shame, as this was a great place.

This is no longer just vegetarian!! I was shocked to visit this restaurant recently and find out that they have now gone non-veg too. Utterly disappointed and we came away. They havent updated their website yet which still says they are vegetarian!
