This restaurant is excellent for both vegetarians and vegans. There's an extensive menu, the food is delicious and authentic and extremely good value for money. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the staff friendly and the decor is simple and modern. Highly recommended.

Jai Shree Krishna in Turnpike Lane, is a brilliant restaurant which I can thoroughly recommend.

The food is consistently good, it's great for vegans and the staff are friendly.
It's cheap as well - and as another correspondant says - 2 people can have a meal for less than a tenner each.

They don't serve alcohol, but if you fancy a drink there is an off licence next door and you can bring your own booze in.

It's relaxed inside, with clean and simple decor. For me this a definitely veggie heaven!

This is a superb restaurant. Great low prices, Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. When the food arrived it tasted very nice. We hope to go back there again 1 day. Just replying to reena dosaj if the thali didnt taste the same as the other week can i reccomend a restaurant you may like? perhaps mcdonalds?

I have found jai shri Krishna a very low priced restaurent, I found the
vegetarian Thali to be very tasty, one week the next week I tried the same
dish only to my disappointment everything that was cooked by the chef
tasted bland, then I tried the dosa and it did not taste nice at all.
Hope they get a chef that knows how to cook properly.

Heard about this place from a friend who raves about it. Much to his delight I have to admit he was right!! Food was great and prices were ridiculously low, cant really ask for more!

Delicious food that is very reasonably priced. A filling meal for two can be only £15. Has a vast menu including dishes from all over India. My favourites include Shahi Panir and Chilli Mogo. Yum! It has a modern but homely atmosphere with very friendly staff. BYO but try the lassi's! Also an Indian Sweet counter with fresh jelebi and ghatia at the weekend.
