I'm surprised this amazing place hasn't got more reviews...

The food is superb. All of it is vegan, aside from the occasional use of cheese in a ciabatta, or moo milk for coffee. There is usually a choice of 5 or so hot mains (I thoroughly recommend the vegetable bake and the vegan lasagne), with a choice of sides - root vegetables, delicious potato wedges, lovely salads etc.

Don't get me started on the desserts - it is truly vegan heaven. I would (and have) travel into London just for the raw chocolate tart - it is just that good! Try the peanut butter cups too. Mmm. Oh, and the ice cream. Handmade by them, and comes in some truly wonderful flavours. Reasonable prices too - a main course with two or three sides is around £7. Great selection of organic beers, ciders and wines too.

wow
I have just been to inSpiral where they have recently launched their latest innovation - a totally vegan, sugar free (as far as agave counts as that) and soya free ice cream range.
Some of the flavors (and they have lots) are based on young coconuts, some on cashews - seriously - never had anything so amazing in my life. To find something so delicious and actually healthy has been a real eye opener.
I heartily recommend this to even the most hardened dairy and sugar ice cream fan - you will be amazed.
anyway - the lounge is an awesome place - they are telling me that they are now changing their hot and cold buffet so its going to be entirely gluten and soya free! I have been checking out progressive health food places for quite some time now in particular around london and I think there ain't no other place that combines that kind of thinking with so much fun and dynamism
the only downside is that they don't stock their cds in the shop anymore - you have to order online - bit annoying but hey...

Friendly service, delicious reasonably-priced food. There are both hot and raw food varieties each day with a selection of sandwhiches, smoothies, vegan cakes, superfoods and countless other nibbles to choose from. Great atmosphere with film nights, DJs and talks in the evenings. Pleasant waterside location with a an outside area to chill out in in the sun!
In addition to all this comes a CD shop, books on healthy eating and free internet. Very recommended.
