Basement cafe, Easy to find next to Buddist center. Went mid-afternoon for big lunch, had the bean pattie with roast pots and steamed veg followed by chocolate cake and two hot drinks each, came to just under £20 for the pair of us. Food was great, very friendly staff, nice clean cafe, very popular don't miss this place if you are visiting Manchester.

Great food, reasonably priced, however just to note those with buggies or wheelchairs, access isn't great, doesn't state this anywhere on website so when we turned up with a buggy found it difficult to manage the steep stairs down the cafe, on the way out realised there is a lift up to the buddhist centre but still steep stairs down from there, overall good once we got in!

Took my non-vegan friend here and even he was impressed with the place! We both had a lovely lunch and drink for £5 each! Good choice of hot food, the salad/pasta bar looked good and the cakes look yummy, will definitley be going back.

Excellently priced and totally vegan. Lots of choice and the food is absolutely great, made using fresh ingredients and lots of imagination. We had smoothies, pie, soup, one of their 'earth burgers' and coleslaw. Everything tasted great and fresh. We were very impressed and wish we had something like this in our home town! The service wasn't great (a little slow) but that's a minor quibble given that the food is so brilliant.

Lots of things to dishes to choose from, nearly everything is vegan, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and the cheapest veggie cafe I've ever seen!
Definitely worth a visit!

It is always a real treat for me to come here. The spinach flan is delicious, and the salads fresh and varied. It is counter service, so is very quick. The prices are cheap. The cakes with soya cream are heaven!

This gem of a cafe in the Northern Quarter has a great choice of all vegan dishes, tantalizing  daily specials, mouth watering salads and the type of belly stretching indulgent deserts that are usually well out of bounds to vegans.  In the basement of the Buddhist Centre you'll encounter friendly service, a relaxed atmosphere and above all a great range of FANTASTIC vegan food.  Every time I eat here I'm bowled over with the quality and I cannot sing its praises highly enough.  Try it out and find an instant favourite!

Excellent!! Superlatives are inadequate to describe this restaurant which is below the Buddhist Centre in Manchester. Average prices between 4 and 6 pounds per head.
