Opened in December 2004 and located in the heart of Truro, Cornwall, Chantek offers an exciting menu of authentic Thai and South East Asian cuisine. The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant and with breathtaking décor it is like entering a whole new world.
The menu features dishes from Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, China, Singapore and Laos. Many of our dishes have vegetarian versions using extra vegetables and tofu, which gives our vegetarian customers a choice of 50 dishes.
Popular vegetarian starters include tom yam soup, tom kha coconut soup, spring rolls, sushi, papaya salad and tempura. Our popular vegetarian main courses include green curry, red curry, massamam curry, stir fried vegetables with cashew nuts, stir fried vegetables with chilli and sweet basil, pineapple fried rice, Bangkok style pad thai, stir fried morning glory, stir fried pumpkin with coconut sauce, stir fried mixed seasonal vegetables and steamed pak choi topped with shitake mushrooms. Rice includes jasmine, organic brown, or sticky rice. Friendly staff give a warm welcome and are on hand to offer advice.
