We visited twice whilst on holiday in Cornwall. It is slightly off the main road but well worth searching out. It is situated above a very well stocked health food shop. The cafe itself has a very pleasant atmosphere; light and airy.
We initially attended the fundraising buffet one Friday night (they sometimes open in the evenings for special events). For £15 we had a phenominal amount of choice, my partner couldn't stop scoffing the delicious pastries they had made for starters! They also provided various salads, hummous etc then a choice of about 5 or so mains such as a delicious beetroot and goats cheese gratin, a spanish omelette and a lovely mung bean curry which I thought sounded very 70s hippy health food shop, but was actually really delicious.... They also had various accomanying salads/rice/spuds. They then held a fundraising raffle with some nice prizes before offering about 3 puds; a fruit crumble, a wheat and dairy free cake and a banana/choc pudding. We went home very stuffed and felt it had been really worth the money, as well as raising vital funds for Water Aid.
We then went back later in the week for lunch, they do various breakfasts and staples like baked potatoes as well as a specials board of things like soup, quiches, omelette and a bean chilli. I would definitely go again, particularly if there was another evening buffet on.

Great lunchtime salads, good range of meals, always a choice of vegan meals and cakes (especially their chocolate cake!) available - also wheat-free options, soya milk cappucinos etc. Very busy at lunchtimes, but takeaways also available from cafe or shop. Reasonable prices. Cafe is upstairs, above healthfood shop. Also offers various healing & therapies in separate space.
