What a great find - thanks to the reviews on this site.  The cafe is tucked away in a side street, so needed a bit of detective work to locate it.  Great value, and such a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with a small but delicious choice of vegan options (including an amazing vegan chocolate cake).

This is a fantastic, relaxed place to spend some time.  The cafe has recently started opening on Friday and Saturday evenings and offers extremely reasonably priced (and delicious) food. In addition, the cafe is a venue for various workshops and meetings.  The atmosphere is relaxed and the place is so friendly you will always walk out with more friends than you came in with - which is a lot more than can be said for most establishments!

It's a very small cafe with friendly staff. They used to sell just drinks and cakes, but have recently introduced savouries as well. It must be the least expensive place I've ever been to. Soups are around £1.50, and main courses are around £2.50. They're tasty and filling, if a bit basic as you'd expect at this price. The place has a nice alternative atmosphere to it. They also do alternative therapies (eg Indian Head massage).
